The Taean Friendship Glass Factory has established a new Korean-style line of producing light-reflecting glass beads. A research group at the Heat Engineering Institute under the State Academy of Sciences developed a plasma generator with materials abundant in the country and developed and introduced advanced technologies to raise the quality of light-reflecting glass beads and reduce the production cost. The factory is now making full preparations for normal operation of the new production line.
